"Divination of Stars"
Lately I've been so inspired by hot air balloons. Perhaps it's the stripe that's reminiscent of circus tents or the Jules Verne time period they both share. For this costume, I wanted to create the feeling of the mysterious fortune teller in the sideshow. I also used that hot air balloon image that just felt magical. I used a special technique of airbrushing on metallic spandex to create that effect. The paint wears quite durably but silks or chain might wear it faster than other apparatus.
