"Bittersweet Big Top"

I've been wanting to create something inspired by weathered, old circus tents but also the hand painted and haphazard look of circus posters. Traveled, repaired, and full of memories.
I've had that amazing orangey-red fabric for so long waiting for the right project. I absolutely adore it with that minty green! I used a lot of craft techniques in this costume. Stenciling, dyeing, and distressing. 
I truly believe that creating depth in my work is a step-by-step process and no step can be skipped. You'll never get the same effect. I think of it a lot like layering flavors in a recipe! Check out the last pic which was my inspiration.
 
4-way stretch mystique spandex is dyed and painted. Sparkle lined on the body are heat set sequin and won't snag or fall off. 
Hand dyed straps can be worn crossed or straight. 
Costume is fully lined. All trim and ribbons are stretch.
Crystal embellishments throughout. Comes with extra metal star detail (on the back) in case you lose any. I used dark grey stones for the top to mimic corroded crystal stones.
Washing instruction: hand wash cool water, roll in towel, hang to dry

S: bust 32-37" waist 25-30" hip 33-37" girth 59--62"
* S fits my small form but a tad long in the waist. 
form measures- bust 35" waist 26" hip 35" girth 58"
 
S/M: bust 37-42" waist 27-32" hip 36-41" girth 60-63"
Fits my small form (with a bit of roominess and long in the body) and fits medium form nicely:
bust 38" waist 29" hip 38" girth 62"
