This one-piece vintage inspired aerial costume is the perfect combination of beautiful and haunting. I originally did this in the colors of the inspo pic, but thought it would be gorgeous in this deep purple with burgundy. I created that stripe myself with airbrushing and handpainting. I LOOOOVE using this technique because there's so much inspiration and freedom in choosing the shades I want. I even hand dyed and made the straps with pretty, gold hardware. The straps are adjustable and convertible and can be worn straight or crossed in back.
 
This leotard is a monokini and attached in the front. Upper is drafted from a vintage bra pattern. Bottom part of costume has full-coverage.
Lace appliqué is painted to look like tarnished, brassy gold. "Sequin" lines are actually heat set so they won't come off and lay flat. Crystal embellishment throughout.
Stretch velvet, stretch sequin, upper bust is fully-lined with heavy powernet for shaping and support, bottoms are fully-lined.
Washing instruction: hand wash cool water, roll in towel, hang to dry
