"Dark Wings, Dark Words"

I decided recently to move into a more organic phase for a moment. I always love working with asymmetry and finding myself in the flow there. This is one of those costumes where I had no idea what direction it would go. I just let the costume tell me what to do. I only knew I wanted to create the feeling of black branches against a dusk sky. I wanted it moody and morose. I used various techniques in this piece like tie dye, airbrushing, braiding, and sculpting. 
 
One piece costume with mesh panels. Bodice has princess seams for nice shaping and fit. 
Hand dyed Mystique Spandex, power net, sequin appliqué, 
Hand painted and airbrushed details.
Crystal embellishments throughout.
First set of pics until video is the size S. I marked the first photo of the size M. There are slight differences between the small and medium. 
Washing instruction: hand wash cool water, roll in towel, hang to dry.
