"Little Twin Stars"

Inspired by my favorite Sanrio characters. When I used to travel to Japan to be with my family they would take me to a stationary store where I could buy all the Sanrio things I ever wanted. This was before it was even a THING in the US. I wanted to create the feeling of celestial pastels, cartoon-y outlined shadows, and maximum pretty. The costume is handpainted and dyed. The tassels are removable from the clips.

Leotard with princess seamed bust for shape and support.
Bust is backed with heavy powernet for structure. Bottoms have standard coverage. 
Stretch metallic velvet, mystique spandex, stretch sequin, and handpainted applique. 
Straps are hand dyed and handmade. They are adjustable and convertible. They can be worn straight or crossed in back.
Washing instruction: Remove tassels, hand wash cool water, roll in towel, hang to dry.
