"My Sacred Heart" Limited Edition

I came across that image of that lampshade the other day and had to clear my calendar to create something amazing! Also, I channeled Baz Luhmann's "Romeo & Juliet" in all it's gaudiness and pageantry. There's nothing in this costume that isn't dyed, painted, airbrushed, or crafted. I really love creating costumes that have a mixed media element to it and layering tons of texture and dimention. I made 2 of these and they are limited editions. They won't be remade.

• One piece leotard is fully-lined. Dyed and airbrushed pearl mystique spandex, metallic trim edging, stretch cut velvet, metallic velvet, and stretch velvet. 

• Comes with metallic stretch wristlets.

• Cut is a bit high cut and cheeky.

• Leotard is drafted from a vintage bra pattern. Cups are lined in heavy powernet for shape and support.

• Floral appliqués are handpainted, fringe is hand dyed and painted, crystal embellishment throughout.

• Princess seams for nice shaping and fit. 

• Washing instruction: hand wash cool water, roll in towel, hang to dry
