"Los Muertos"
I've been wanting to do a Dia de Los Muertos costume for so long now! I couldn't picture in my head exactly what that would look like and got stuck in analysis paralysis. When I made my last skeleton inspired costume it clicked. So finally...here you go.
I hand painted the marigolds and ribcage. The spinal column is dimensional using a trapunto method. The puff sleeve has some structure in it to keep the pouf strong.
- One piece costume. All hand dyed and painted.
- All edging is stretch satin elastic.
- Bottoms are full-coverage.
- Bodice is fully-lined and has princess seams for shape and support.
- Let me know if you need the nude dyed darker.
- Stones can be added at an additional cost.
- Washing instruction: hand wash cool water, roll in towel, hang to dry.
