"Circus of Ill Repute"

Oooooh the dream of pulling an old costume out of a dustly circus trunk. Those naughty circus girls who danced in the back tent! A nod to a garter and little tassels for the shimmy shakes. I put a lot of detail into the aging of this costume. Dirty, darkened seams, tarnished gold, and corroded metals bleeding dark patterns onto the fabric. It's fun to imagine how a costume would weather. Let me know if you're interested in this in a different size. 
 
*The bottoms on this costume are double layered and lined. Because of this, it's naturally supportive through the tummy...which is great! The briefs and the "garter" are separate pattern pieces attached at the waist and stitched down on the hips and the points. Everything is secured down. 
 
Hand dyed, pearl mystique spandex and stripes, stretch sequin spandex, stretch satin trim, painted appliques, crystal embellishments throughout. 
The top is drafted from a vintage bra pattern. Bottoms are ultra high waisted with a vintage, modest, full-coverage booty.  
Washing instruction: hand wash cool water, roll in towel, hang to dry

XS/S: bust 31-36" waist 24-28" hip 31-36" 
S/M: bust 32-37" waist 25-30 hip 32-37"
