P Armstrong's Polka Dots

100 years ago, a woman named P Armstrong wore this costume. I acquired this from the same antique dealer I got her other costume. This costume is definitely a shadow box art piece as it's not in wearable condition. It would be SO AWESOME displayed that way. 
The costume is fascinating to me. I'm assuming the color was a light color 100 years ago and the glue that was used to hold the glitter turned over the years making this antique-y bronze color. Oh I wish I had a photograph of her in it. One must exist in this world. If not, this circus family will honor her. One of you will frame this and honor her, I know it.
